«CONFLUENCES AND CONTROVERSIES IN SYSTEMIC THEORY, RESEARCH AND PRACTICE»

The alliance between EFTA and RELATES for this congress reflects the desire to unite two major entities in the field of systemic practice in collaboration with the DIPHE laboratory of the University of Lyon 2. These organisations embody the scientific knowledge and practical experience of professionals from a variety of cultures and backgrounds in Europe and Latin America.

The conference is intended to be transdisciplinary, transgenerational and multicultural, encouraging dialogue and the sharing and optimisation of knowledge and practice.

ETHICAL PRINCIPLES

1. Respect for others

- Universal respect: each participant must show respect for all other people, regardless of their condition, origin or status.

- Respect for image: - Respect of image: it is understood that participants agree to respect the personal image of others by agreeing not to take photographs for commercial use or for the pure benefit of a person or institution.

Participants agree to have their images captured by media duly authorised by the Congress organisers.

- Confidentiality: Participants mentioned in presentations, whether individuals, couples, families or groups, must be protected by anonymity, particularly during film screenings, role-playing or discussions.

- Discretion: Participants must show restraint and courtesy towards exhibitors and contributors.

- Respectful debates: Discussions and controversies must be conducted with moderation, avoiding any disrespectful or confrontational behaviour.

2. Contribution to the common good

- Collective impact: Each contribution must aim to enrich the community, with particular attention to children, adolescents, vulnerable people or people requiring assistance or socio-educational, therapeutic or psychological support.

- Ecosystemic responsibility: Participants must be aware that they belong to an interconnected global system and act in a spirit of solidarity and preservation of the common good.

3. Promoting quality       

- Truthfulness: Clinical accounts, publications and statements must reflect the reality of the facts and comply with truthfulness and scientific reference standards.

- Research: Work submitted to the Scientific Committee must demonstrate in-depth research, conceptualisation, experimentation or clinical studies with a concern for methodological rigour.

- Sharing knowledge: Exchanges between professionals, schools and associations should contribute to mutual enrichment and the improvement of practices for the benefit of the community.

4. Respect for the environment

The organisation of the congress is part of an eco-responsible approach, aiming to :

- Reducing energy consumption and waste ;

- Promote sustainable practices in the logistics and activities of the congress;

- Raise participants' awareness of the importance of preserving the environment in their professional and personal lives.

This document, designed to guide the behaviour of participants, contributes to making the EFTA-RELATES 2025 Congress an ethical, inclusive and respectful event in all its dimensions.
